Superintendent Cohort Program

 

This program supports and develops superintendents during their first year in a new role or district.

This program supports and develops superintendents during their first year in a new role or district. The cohort begins in August and will meet online monthly from August through May for approximately one hour. Participants will engage in discussions on key topics such as:

  • Setting the tax rate
  • Contracts
  • Understanding their district's policies, such as purchasing
  • Preparing for negotiations
  • State aid and funding
  • Employee insurance

Additional relevant subjects will also be explored to ensure a comprehensive foundation for success.

Program Fee: $300

  • All fees are non-refundable and non-transferable. A credit card is the method of payment. (Note: Charges will not apply until the individual is accepted into the program.)

Program Requirements:

  • 2025/26 MoASBO Active Membership
  • Program Registration
  • Be a superintendent (new or second year and want to learn more finance/operations)
