MoASBO connects you to a network of public school finance and operations professionals through regional communities, conferences, and workshops. Members gain access to resources that support professional development and enhance career growth and skillsets.

Active Member - $150 - School administrators, business officials and support staff who are employed and directly involved in the operation of public or private school districts.

Educational Associate Member - $55 - Persons involved directly or indirectly in education who is not qualified as an active member. School board members, faculty members, educational consultants.

Emeritus Member: $45 - An Emeritus member shall have been an active MoASBO member for a minimum of three consecutive years at the time of his/her retirement and shall no longer be employed as a full-time employee by a board of education. Retired means having been accepted for retirement by PSRS, PEERS or MoSERS.

  • Learn all about Legislative Fiscal Notes and how they fit in the legislative process.

Communication:

  • Members receive emails from the Executive Director on important education and association matters.
  • Updates are emailed to all members during the legislative session.
  • A quarterly ENewsletter provides professional information and details on association activities and events.

Support to School Districts:

  • MoASBO provides support and assistance to school districts on school finance and budget related issues through the MoASBO Help Center
  • When a staff member retires or leaves unexpectedly, the MoASBO Help Center can provide short-term, in-person assistance. This service is available for a fee and is subject to MoASBO staff schedules.
  • MoASBO is available to assist to school districts with communication planning and/or communication issues.
