How can we help? 

 

There is no one right answer or no wrong answer to that question, but there are myriad ways each of us can make a difference. Decisions and actions impact both the receiver and the giver.

 

As I thought about what this year's legacy project should be, I kept returning to these thoughts and thinking about how people in our community struggle with extremely difficult situations. Giving is not just about making a donation and moving on; it is also about making a difference and potentially changing the lives of others for the better through our actions! 

 

You may be surprised to know the Salvation Army has Family Shelters throughout Missouri that provide support in many ways. 

 

Shelley and I have supported localized area women's shelters in STL, so this is a program that I feel is very important. It is a great way to help those taking courageous steps toward change. Join me in April, and let's see how many children and families we can lift up by bringing a donation for the Family Shelter Program to the Annual Spring Conference.
