Member Spotlight: Susan Wolf, Executive Director of Business Services, Wentzville School District

Susan Wolf has been a dedicated MoASBO member for more than 20 years. With a deep passion for public education, she feels blessed knowing that her behind-the-scenes work in school finance directly supports students and teachers.

Her favorite aspect of the job is problem-solving and finding creative ways to make limited resources go further. One of her proudest accomplishments is mentoring finance staff and watching them grow into confident, successful professionals who make a lasting impact.

In her free time, Susan enjoys spending time with family and friends, reading historical fiction, and bargain shopping. When asked what advice she would give to new school finance employees, she emphasizes the importance of asking questions, building strong relationships, and always keeping the focus on students.

MoASBO has been a valuable resource throughout her career, providing professional development and connecting her with a statewide network of colleagues. She looks forward each year to the Spring Conference, where she finds inspiration, learning, and a sense of community.
