Member Spotlight: David Andrade

Meet David Andrade, the new Superintendent of the Ballard R-II School District. We welcome him to the Missouri Association of School Business Officials (MoASBO) as a new member.

"I love supporting my staff and students while navigating the challenges of being a Superintendent," said David. "I am dedicated to ensuring the success of both our students and staff."

Let’s get to know David a little better:

Question 1: What do you love about your job?

Response: I love that each day is different. Every day brings a new challenge and an opportunity for growth.
 

Question 2: Can you share an achievement that makes you proud?

Response: Becoming a Superintendent.

Question 3: In your spare time, what activities do you enjoy?

Response:  I enjoy fishing, spending time with family and friends, and participating in any competitive games. 
 

Question 4: What is the most challenging thing about your job?

Response: The difficulty of balancing all the competing priorities. In public education, we face many challenges and agendas.
 

Question 5: Do you have a piece of advice to share?

Response: No matter your position, networking with colleagues is essential.
