A Message from MOASBO Board President

Greetings MoASBO members,

As we kick off the 2025 year, I want to reflect for a few minutes on some 2024 highlights quickly. I am proud of what we have achieved together - MoASBO Is The Place To Go! 

We implemented a new strategic plan, launched a new website, and have well-attended regional meetings and top-level professional development through webinars and our in-person events. I genuinely believe we have embraced our core values and vision -  Serve as the most valued resource for public school finance and operations information. MoASBO is the place to go for: ● Community ● Education ● Resources ● Advocacy

Looking ahead, our focus will be on ensuring the long-term vitality of our association by investing in our future. This includes expanding our on-demand program, supporting our leadership development programs, and building our relationships with other associations, among other initiatives.
 

My main priority has been building relationships with you – MoASBO's valued members. My Fall schedule was packed with a board retreat, Kansas City regional meetings, MoASBO conferences, and connecting with members interested in obtaining their SFO. These thoughtful conversations allowed MoASBO to better support you and design professional development opportunities tailored to your specific needs that address issues of importance to the profession. I'm excited to see this effort amplified in 2025.

We are committed to ensuring our association thrives in a dynamic and evolving public education world. None of this would be possible without the dedication of our incredible staff, Board members, volunteer leaders, and most importantly, our members.
