Purpose:
 MoASBO’s Leadership Learning Institute is an interactive year-long program that offers a transformative journey for school leaders and individuals aspiring to leadership roles in their district.

The Institute covers topics essential to developing a deep understanding of the leadership role of a successful CFO, director, manager, or administrator. This program is also valuable for other new administrative leaders (superintendents and assistant superintendents) or new school business officials.

Program Objectives: 

  • Empower participants to lead with authenticity, integrity, and purpose, aligning their actions with their values and beliefs.
  • Develop essential leadership, communication, and relationship-building skills necessary for success in school finance and business operations leadership roles.
  • Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement within the school business/finance department and across the organization.
  • Equip participants with the tools, resources, and strategies to navigate complex organizational dynamics and drive positive outcomes for students and stakeholders.
  • Cultivate a community of like-minded leaders committed to personal growth, professional development, and making a meaningful impact in education.
  • Empower participants to lead with authenticity, integrity, and purpose, aligning their actions


Program:
 The Leadership Learning Institute program includes Zoom online eLearning workshops and education sessions at conferences (MSBA/MASA/MoASBO Fall Conference and MoASBO Spring Conference). The program runs from September – April.


Participants:
 Anyone serving or interested in a senior or cabinet-level position. Applicants must have a bachelor’s degree and a minimum of three years of experience in the business or education fields. MoASBO membership is required.


Program Costs:
 $900
