Membership

• Annual membership coincides with the MoASBO fiscal year, July 1 - June 30.
• Membership fees cannot be transferred and are not refundable or prorated.
• All membership fees must be paid prior to registering for a conference as a member or receiving member-only benefits, including our peer-to-peer online community. Missouri ASBO Online Community

All memberships are annual, July 1 - June 30, and cannot be transferred and are not refundable or prorated.

School district administrators, business officials and support staff personnel look to MoASBO for professional development and networking opportunities to help them be leaders in their professions. MoASBO also provides opportunity beyond public and private school operation which includes educational and emeritus membership.

Active Member - $150 - School administrators, business officials and support staff who are employed and directly involved in the operation of public or private school districts.

Educational Associate Member - $55 - Persons involved directly or indirectly in education who is not qualified as an active member. School board members, faculty members, educational consultants.

Missouri Department of Education, post-secondary institutions and other state agencies, etc., are eligible for membership in this classification.

Emeritus Member - $45 - An Emeritus member shall have been an active MoASBO member for a minimum of three consecutive years at the time of his/her retirement and shall no longer be employed as a full-time employee by a board of education. Retired means having been accepted for retirement by PSRS, PEERS or MoSERS.

Emeritus members will be entitled to publications, the privilege of registering for conferences and meeting at their membership rates, all mailings, and other services as determined by the Board of Directors.

Emeritus members shall not have the right to vote or hold office.

If an Emeritus member returns to a position that qualifies for Active Membership, their Emeritus status shall expire.

MoASBO Code of Ethics

School business professionals are held to high ethical standards. The Code of Ethics outlines the standards, conduct, and expectations of MoASBO members in good standing.

• The preferred method of payment is by credit card when registering. The registration confirmation page serves as an invoice.
• Purchase orders are not accepted.
• Payment by credit card may also be provided after submitting the registration by modifying the registration payment information.
• All membership fees must be paid prior to receiving membership benefits, including Missouri ASBO Online Community.
