All business sponsors are required to wear conference name tags, indicating payment of conference registration fee. Admittance to sessions and meals is limited to those people wearing name tags. People who have paid to be a part of the conference are the only business representatives who should be hosting the hospitality rooms and exhibit tables.
Cancellation Policy: Requests for refunds must be made through email prior to March 1, 2019. A $50 service fee will be charged on all refunds. In the event that an exhibitor cancels this contract after March 1 or otherwise fails to occupy the assigned space, MoASBO is entitled to full payment for booth space(s)/sponsorship. Submission of application indicates acceptance of this policy and Individual tied to the registration will be primary contact.
Conference Program Print Ad:
The conference program will be distributed to all attendees during check-in at MoASBO. The program includes complete details of the conference, exhibit hall and other event activities. What’s more, the program is also kept and referred to throughout the year by attendees and shared with their colleagues. Advertising in the program is a great way to stand out and drive potential clients to your booth. Space is limited and deadlines apply. (Deadline: Feb. 25)
Neither MoASBO nor Tan-Tar-A shall be accountable or liable for any damage, loss, harm, or injury to the person or property of the applicant or any of its officers, agents, employees, or other representatives, resulting from theft, fire, water, accident, or any other cause. The exhibitor assumes the entire responsibility and liability for losses, damages, and claims arising out of exhibitor’s activities whether on the Hotel premises or off and will indemnify, defend, and hold harmless MoASBO and the Hotel, its owner, and its management company, as well as their respective agents, servants, and employees from any and all such losses, damages, and claims.
Hotel will not be responsible or liable for any loss, damage or claims arising out of exhibitor’s activities on the Hotel’s premises except for any claims, loss or damages arising directly from its negligence. Missouri Association of School Business Officials will be responsible to negotiate the contract with its exhibitors. MoASBO does not endorse or advertise offsite activities.
Care of Building and Equipment:
Exhibitors are liable to the owner of the property for any damage to the walls, floors, or booths.
The exhibit hall will be locked when not in use. No responsibility for loss will be assumed by MoASBO or Tan-Tar-A.
Rights or Refusal of Exhibitor:
MoASBO reserves the right to refuse to rent exhibit space to any person or entity whose product or service is not consistent with MoASBO’s mission and/or is deemed to be contrary to the best interests of MoASBO members and/or public education. MoASBO reserves the right to accept only exhibitors of its choosing.
